Our Village Map
On Saturday 23rd March 2024 our Village Map was unveiled by the Chairman of the Parish Council and the ceremony was attended by Parish Council and WI members as well as quite a few inquisitive villagers.
The Map is to commemorate our 100th Anniversary in March 2022 and it was hand drawn by WI members Lesley Jordan and Marion Blythe, seen here. It features pen and ink drawings of some of the prominent village buildings including St Lawrence Church, The Infants school and the library. The steel lectern was also made locally by 2 young blacksmiths from Creaton.
